I led Texas's Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), the nation’s first fully funded educator incentive program. I also led the vision and strategy for the the Texas teacher and leader certification redesign initiatives, including the statewide change management process to influence agency executives, legislative staff, and state board education members to make certification policy changes. I started my career in education teaching middle school science, math and English in Philadelphia, Austin, and Dallas. I have been an instructional coach and director of new teacher development in Dallas. I hold degrees from The University of Texas and the University of Pennsylvania.
